The Smok Scar 18 230W Kit represents Smok's commitment to extreme durability without sacrificing performance, combining military-grade IP67 protection with industry-leading 230W maximum output. The dual 18650 battery configuration provides extended all-day performance for outdoor use, whilst the bottom-hinged battery door with innovative lock mechanism ensures secure battery retention during physical activity. Four output modes deliver versatile customisation — Power Mode (VW) for precise wattage control (1–230W), Temperature Control modes for Nickel/Titanium/Stainless Steel wire with adjustable TCR values, and Bypass Mode for unregulated mechanical experience. Comprehensive safety protections include intelligent atomizer recognition, puff monitoring system, 8-second cut-off, short-circuit detection, overheating prevention, and low battery warning. The TFV9 Tank utilises V9 mesh coil series featuring nichrome construction with enlarged heating surface area for accelerated ramp-up time, exceptional flavour reproduction, and dense cloud production. The gold-plated 510 connector increases conductivity and rub resistance. Compatible with 70VG/30PG e-liquids and high-VG freebase e-liquids.

The Smok Scar 18 Kit features military-grade IP67 certification providing comprehensive environmental protection. Waterproof rating enables 30-minute submersion at 15cm–1m depth, protecting against rain, splashes, and brief water exposure. Dustproof construction prevents ingress in dusty environments (construction sites, workshops, outdoor trails). Shockproof design withstands accidental drops and impacts during physical activity. The leather-textured panels provide secure grip even with wet or gloved hands, whilst the 0.96-inch display remains visible in bright sunlight. Ideal for construction workers, outdoor professionals, hikers, cyclists, and active lifestyle users.
The advanced IQ-X chipset provides intelligent atomizer recognition automatically detecting coil resistance and optimising power delivery without manual configuration. The puff monitoring system tracks usage patterns and battery consumption. Temperature Control modes support Nickel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel wire with adjustable TCR (temperature coefficient of resistance) values enabling precise customisation. The chipset ensures stable consistent output across battery discharge cycle, prevents performance degradation, and delivers comprehensive safety protections (8-second cut-off, short-circuit, overheating, low battery warning).
No — batteries sold separately — the Scar 18 requires two high-drain 18650 batteries not included in package. For 230W maximum output, use high-amp cells rated 25A+ continuous discharge such as Samsung 25R, Sony VTC5A, or LG HG2. Purchase matched pairs (identical brand/model/age) and charge using external dedicated battery charger rather than onboard micro USB for optimal battery longevity. The outdoor durability focus makes quality batteries critical — inferior cells create safety risks during environmental exposure. Stock batteries alongside kits to capture complete sale.
Outdoor professionals and active cloud chasers — the Smok Scar 18 targets construction workers, trade professionals, outdoor enthusiasts (hikers, climbers, cyclists, motorcyclists), and experienced DTL vapers requiring rugged equipment. The IP67 protection justifies premium pricing for customers whose work/lifestyle environments destroy standard devices. The 230W capability, temperature control, and 6.5ml capacity appeal to advanced users demanding maximum performance alongside durability. Not ideal for: Complete beginners, indoor-only vapers, customers seeking compact pocket devices, or those unwilling to manage external batteries.
Battery Safety: Requires two high-drain 18650 batteries (not included). Use reputable brands rated 25A+ continuous discharge. Always use external battery charger for optimal safety. Never use damaged or improperly wrapped batteries. IP67 rating does NOT make batteries waterproof — ensure battery door properly closed before exposure. Store and transport in non-conductive battery cases.
Age Restricted: For adult use only (18+ in the UK). High-power device for experienced vapers. Use only with high-VG (70VG/30PG) freebase e-liquids — not compatible with nic salts. Keep device, batteries, and e-liquids out of reach of children. Retailers must verify customer age at point of sale.
The Smok Scar 18 Kit is supplied wholesale as complete kits including device, TFV9 Tank, two V9 mesh coils, replacement glass, micro USB cable, and manual. Available in eight colourways including premium stabilising wood finishes commanding higher retail pricing. Stock V9 replacement coils to serve ongoing customer demand — outdoor users replace coils more frequently due to environmental exposure. Position as premium rugged kit for outdoor professionals and active vapers — display point-of-sale materials emphasising IP67 waterproof/dustproof/shockproof protection to justify premium pricing versus standard box mods.
