How Big Puffs Electronic Vapes Were Legalised In Britain

CBD infused products are becoming popular in the vaping market

Have you ever wondered how electronic vapes came into existence? Well, the first e-cigarette design to grace our communities was first introduced in 1963 by a man named Herbert A Gilbert, who was well aware of the health implications of smoking tobacco. Cigarettes were very much a part of the 60s and used in almost all public places – including offices, universities, aeroplanes and every public place. Gilbert’s idea never really made it into public. What people at the time didn’t know was the fact electronic vapes would rise in popularity years and years later.

Having said that 40 years later in 2003, when people were much aware of the damaging effects of tobacco, a pioneering Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik developed an electronic cigarette after losing his father to lung cancer. He created an electronic device that administered nicotine without the presence of hundreds of harmful chemicals found in tobacco smoke. His e-cigarette design enjoyed a surge of success in the Chinese market and soon began fuelling energy to other countries.

When Was The First E-Cigarette Created?

The first e-cigarette that was introduced into the UK was in 2005 and then into the American market in 2007. The law of e-cigarettes has changed over time as more and more people are learning about whether they are harmful to the body or not.

But that’s not all, the World Health Organisation declared that e-cigarettes were not to be marketed as a form of smoking. However, they did not offer any suggestions towards whether they had a positive or negative effect, which prompted a shift of opinions on the product. Today, approximately 3.1 million people are using e-cigarettes in the UK alone. But can vaping be the saviour for smokers who want to quit? It depends on how you look at it.

How Do Vapes Work?

All vapes pretty much work in the same way. Each e-cigarette has a battery, a heating coil and a reservoir of e-liquid. The battery provides power to heat the coil, which then vaporises the e-liquid. You can inhale the vapour to enjoy both the flavour and nicotine kick.

The Different Vape Types

There are six different types of vapes which include: pod vapes, starter kits, vape pens, MTL vapes, sub-ohm vapes, and disposable vapes. Keep in mind that each type can have a different variation. So with pod vapes, you can prefill and semi-dispose them. Alternatively, Datt Vape Distro’s range of vape bars and big puff electronic e-cigarettes are getting all the attention. Our collection includes vape products from top brands such as Elf Bar, Geek Bar, ELUX, SMOK, Vaporesso, Geek Vape, Innokin, Voopoo and Aspire, as well as typical box vape mods.

How The Industry Made Vape Legal?

Whilst vaping with disposables has become popular among the younger generation, there has been a stagnant decline in smokers in older adults aged 45. Although the e-cigarette legal age is 18, due to advertising and campaigns more people are drawn to vaping because of its flavours and the effects of the intake of nicotine.

How Do Big Vapes Work?

Long-lasting vapes have a greater e-liquid capacity. The main difference between a big vape bar and a regular single-use vape kit is the amount of puffs you get. A traditional disposable bar only has a prefilled 2ml pod that delivers a maximum of 600 puffs. This is approximately about 2 days’ worth of use for the average vaper. Once your 600-puff disposable is empty, you will need to buy a new kit. You can select which vape kit you would like from the options available at Datt Vape Distro.

A big puff, on the other hand, provides up to a week’s worth of use. They will typically cost two to three times more than a regular disposable but will allow you to save huge in the long run. The disposable vape concept works out a lot cheaper and provides you with a kit that will deliver consistent performance. Most big puff electronic vapes provide up to 6000 puffs while others provide a staggering 10000 puffs per unit. Haze CBD offers 1200 puffs per kit and they are at an affordable price.

But what’s new to these big puff electronic vapes is that these kits use inhale activation which makes them easier to vape once the pods are installed. The activation of an electronic vape is that it mimics the sensation of drawing on a cigarette by using the mouth-to-lung style of vaping. This is where the vapour is drawn into the mouth, held for a second and then inhaled.

How Much Nicotine In A Big Puff Vape?

Big puff electronic vapes use nicotine salts at a 20mg strength. Nicotine salts are a type of naturally forming nicotine found in leaf tobacco and blended with e-liquids – the most efficient way to deliver nicotine to your body. These are usually flavoured e-liquid in 10ml bottles available in kits.

To conclude, electronic vapes are being widely used in the UK. More people are resorting to vaping, e-cigarettes and e-liquids because of the damaging effects of nicotine. While it is legal for 18+ to purchase and use these e-cigarettes and vape kits, it’s important to understand this is the new era for smokers to stop smoking and start vaping.
